Portfolio

Here are some of my favourite images from the library I have begun to compile and curate

The following images interested me because they show different aspects of nature.

Nature's price

This picture was taken at the Southchurch Nature Reserve. It interested me as it is a clear indicator of how the predator-prey circle works. The delicacy of how the predator fed from the egg can be seen from the small puncture marks in the shell.

Porlock Beach

This stood out to me due to the difference between our local beach (quite sandy) and this quite rocky surface. I particularly liked the shine of the water on the rocks as it highlighted all the details. The movement of the water and stillness of the rockpool are interesting opposites when caught together.

Near the South Downs

Taken near West Marden in West Sussex the sun was breaking through the cloud and can be seen highlighting the woodland. This created an interesting line of shadow along the slope of the hill. The hedges were nice to see given their loss due to farming.
